2024: Jurassic Coast

Although we knew our cruise was not far away, we needed a break. So rather than use our remaining Avios on another British Airways flight, we used them to reduce the price of our luxury Victoria Hotel stay in Sidmouth. With temperatures in the high twenties/low thirties, it made the break feel like a holiday abroad. So the outside pool was a welcome addiiton to our stay. We didn’t eat at the hotel, though we’d heard it was very good. Instead we opted for eating in town at The Marine Pub. The Source Spa was included wih the hotel room so we visited in the morning of the second day and it was so relaxing! Then we set off to Seaton as John wanted to go on the Seaton Tramway. A lovely day out, with cream tea at Colyton Station to complete the Devon holiday experience. The only disappointment – we didn’t manage to fit in fish and chips, so perhaps we will on our next visit!

You can see more of our Jurassic Coast mini-break by visiting our UK Travel Vlogs playlist here or where we stayed here.
